Jubbaland state president H.E Ahmed Mohamed Islam has visited Mogadishu, the Somali capital, today morning at the head of a delegation of senior members of the Jubbaland administration.
The visit aims at finalizing talks that have been ongoing between the federal republic and the jubbalad state to solve differences that have threatened the relationship among the two administrations.
The president was received warmly by senior officials from the federal administration upon his arrival at the Aden Adde International Airport in the capital.
This is part of a normalization process that has been ongoing in recent months to normalize the relationship between the federal administration and its member states which hit rock bottom last year after some states cut their ties with the federal administration.
President Ahmed Mohamed Islam is also expected to hold several meetings with senior federal government officials during his stay at the capital.
